This 4.5 inch plate is slip decorated in yellow, copper, iron red, white and manganese on a red clay background. This piece has a pineapple motif (symbol of hospitality and welcome), nicely bordered with the alphabet. The front has a crackle finish and the back has a smooth waxed patina.
